The hides are water level with a large pond sited for best light and wind directions. The 2 hides seat up to 24 (2 x 12) photographers. There will be a toilet between the hides, also an area for refreshments and covered outside smoking.

​

The walk to the hide is roughly 200m with a slight incline, there is a pathway mown  to guide you.

Hopefully you'll see the famous Osprey ringed blue 394 we've nicknamed 'Nessy'

​

The hide is available all day arranged into 2 daily sessions.

April & May

Dawn - 2pm (Morning Session)

2pm - Dusk (Evening Session)

June, July & August

Dawn - 12am (Morning Session)

12am - Dusk (Evening Session)

Season hide times

Opens - April 1st

Closes - September (when Ospreys migrate)

What you need:

​

• Waterproof Footwear 

• Tripod, gimbal or if you prefer hand held

• Warm clothing

• Food & Drink

• Camera with plenty memory 

• Batteries

• Lens reach ideally 300mm and above

​

There are also Red and Fallow Deer around the pond so plenty to photograph while you wait for the ospreys.
